About

In a sentence, Jillian Wakarchuk is a Toronto-based multimedia artist. I mean, it’s complicated and I do a lot of things. I graduated from Queen’s University with a specialization degree in Stage and Screen studies. Designing experiences both digitally and physically is what I’m passionate about. I believe art needs to be more accessible and I’m working towards that by studying American Sign Language Interpretation at George Brown College.

My art centres around themes of queer identity, witchcraft, technology, city spaces, power dynamics, and diverse relationships. It ranges from video games to film to RPG props to graphic design.

Check out my Twitter for project and life updates, my Instagram for pictures of local wildlife, and my LinkedIn for all of the jobs/volunteering I do (links up top!).
